A few years ago Jeff and I took Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University at our church. Since that time we have been able to pay off our debt and get our emergency fund stocked. It has been such a blessing to us to get our finances in order. We now feel like we will be ready for our financial future. Jeff has felt strongly about teaching these principles to our kids. This Christmas we purchased Financial Peace Jr for Emma. Jeff sat down with Emma about a week ago to get her started.
This is when Emma realized she would be earning money!

Emma finished her first week of Financial Peace. Jeff paid her and she divided her money into her 3 envelopes: Give, Save, and Spend. Now we need to help Emma figure out what she wants to give her money to, and what she wants to spend her money on (the fun part)!
