It's been a long time since I've updated my blog... and a LOT has happened! We took our family vacation in June. It was a lot of fun. We stayed with Jeff's sister near Orlando for several days. During our stay with Chris we visited the Wonder Works museum (the upside down building), took the kids swimming at Jeff's dad's house, ate dinner at the Rainforest Cafe and walked around Downtown Disney, and we spent a day at Disney World! The kids loved Disney World! We ended up pretty lucky and didn't have to wait in line very long for anything- and we used the fast passes to help with that. We also were able to meet Buzz Lightyear. Dylan was a little scared of him, but Bryson and Emma were excited!
Emma enjoyed almost all of the rides, but one of her favorites was the Aladdin flying carpets. Bryson's favorite ride by far was It's a Small World. I was a little disappointed that we only got to ride it once, but his reaction was priceless! *see the picture below* Bryson and Dylan were both mesmerized during It's a Small World. Dylan didn't move until the ride was over, and Bryson and Emma excitedly pointed out everything they saw!
There was a rainstorm that blew threw, and we were fortunate enough to get inside the Judges Tent before it started. Inside the tent they have characters to meet and a huge store to shop in. We took the kids to meet the princesses and the fairies- although the boys didn't really care. Emma had her picture taken with Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Belle, Tinkerbell, Silvermist, and Rosetta. We ended the day with the parade and fireworks. All three kids loved it, and we had great seats for it too! This years fireworks display was probably the best fireworks display I have ever seen. We can't wait to go back to Disney again!
