After Eggstravaganza, naps, and dinner, we dyed our Easter eggs. Dylan missed the event because he was so fussy. We ended up taking him to the doctor on Saturday- he had a double ear infection!
Emma and Bryson both had a great time dying eggs. Bryson grabbed his first egg and cracked it on the table. I think he is so used to helping me bake that he was confused about the whole concept of coloring eggs! His method for dying eggs was fast and messy. He loved tossing his eggs in all of the different colors.
Emma took her time dying her eggs. She kept her eggs in the dye for long periods of time to get the best color that she could. She also dyed a few eggs one color on one side, and another color on the second side. Bryson finished dying eggs several minutes before Emma was done with hers.
It was a great Good Friday at our house- Jeff helped Bryson dye his eggs, and Bryson was so happy to spend some time with his daddy!
