Emma's big day started out with a trip to the beauty salon. My friend Dena did Emma's hair (and Hannah's too), and then I did her makeup. Both girls looked great and were excited for the show!
This is a picture of Emma in her ballet costume sitting backstage at the recital. I loved this costume and she looked adorable in it! Her wings look like a flower, and the song they danced to is about how "friendship grows like a flower."
This is Emma's tap costume. I was going backstage to check on her, but they were already lining up and I passed her in the hall. They danced to the locomotion for tap.
